Farm to table with our chefs

Casa Mãe’s kitchen is open, an open & welcoming kitchen concept – sous Chef Pedro thrives at sharing his knowledge and invites our guests to step into the kitchen to cook at his side, guided by him. Each session is tailored to the participant's wishes – it always starts with a foraging session in our vegetable garden to pick up herbs & greens alongside our sous chef. Then, the cooking class can be about vegetarian cuisine or about fish with the preparation of Casa Mãe signature ceviche. With the ceviche techniques, you will learn how to clean & debone a fish, how to marinate, and dress in search of the perfect balance in flavours, and how to make the famous ‘leche de tigre’.
