FAQs
Can we bring pets?
Although we really like animals, and we even have our own farm with hundreds of chickens, pets are not accepted at the hotel. However, our team will be happy to assist you in finding a pet spa close by if you wish to bring them on your trip.
Can I come with kids?
At Casa Mãe children of any age are of course welcome. In the following room types, we're able to add the listed number of extra beds or cots for small families to share the same room.
- Deluxe
- Cabanas
- Padaria
- Esplanada
- Horta
- Heritage
- Baluarte
There is an additional cost of 15€/per day for babies, this includes the cot & our baby kit (for babies up to 3 years old). For kids from 3 to 10 years old, we can place a roll away bed for 20€/per day.
Please note that most rooms are romantic in their design, with an open bathroom and tub in the room. Also, adding an extra bed takes up some circulation space in the bedroom area.
Due to those constraints and for your comfort, cots/beds are only available for children under 10 years old.
Our baluarte and Padaria suites provide proper extra beds suitable for adults and kids over 10 years old. The additional cost for kid/ adult over 10 years old is 45€ per night. The daily additional fee includes the breakfast for the additional guest.
Kindly contact the reception team at info@casa-mae.com so we can recommend the best room type for you, and arrange the extra beds/cots.
Is the pool supervised?
We have 15m long pool in front of Casa Mãe, next to the cabanas and 150m from Jogo do Bola. The gates are open most of the time, and we don’t have a dedicated team to watch the pool. We strongly recommend parents with children to watch out their children when playing around the pool or in the gardens, to ensure their safe behaviour.
Parking space?
There is a free parking inside our facilities, next to the entrance of the street Jogo da bola 41. However as a small hotel we are, we also have only a few places available, and it is not possible to make reservations availability will be managed as guests arrive. If there is no parking in our park, do not worry, there is a free public parking next to the hotel and our front desk staff will help you find it.
