The restaurant Orta by Casa Mãe is about healthy, fresh and sunny flavors. It’s breakfast from dawn till late, raw food during the day and barbecue with outdoor cinema in summer time – farm to table by essence, our food is all about the pureness of the produce.  Our chefs scouted the Algarve to get the best of local produce.  The kitchen is open, the bread from our oven, the eggs from our farm, the fish straight from the ocean, what gets on your plate is home grown, home baked or carefully sourced - natural wines, signature cocktails, feel-good smoothies, craft coffee, craft beer, artisanal ice creams, local cheese and more!

Brunch  8 am – 1.30 pm

Lunch & Small bites 1 pm – 8 pm

Dinner  7.30 pm – 10 pm

Headed by Casa Mãe’s master farmer Júlio Machado, our out-of-town farm is cultivated organically following the principles of sustainability, permaculture and biodynamic agriculture. Julio is passionate and always keen to explore new produce, a playground for our chefs!

 

We take local sourcing and farm-to-table seriously, for example: our breakfast eggs come from our chicken, happily fed with kale and oranges of the farm. Come and try the workshops to learn about Algarvian flavors and natural tricks to get the best produce.
